Named Night Online News Editor for The Augusta Chronicle in February 2010. Responsible for laying out story priority and positioning on the site Wednesday-Sunday nights. So if you like what you see, thank me, and if you don't like what you see, let me know. Started working as an online producer at The Augusta Chronicle in August of 2006. Favorite news memories include meeting James Brown at the 2006 Toy Giveaway days before he died, live blogging the 2009 Masters tournament from the media center at Augusta National and anytime someone in power got in trouble because we caught them doing something they weren't supposed to be doing.

Alternative Ironmen

Watch video of some excellent bike jump action from Alpine, Utah.

These fine folks decided riding bikes down a hill and flinging themselves 35 feet into the air off a dirt ramp into a pond had no downside. And they were correct. It's excellent.

Amazingly, only one injury reported (requiring six stitches) in a session that, frankly, should have caused a little more damage.

Next up in the world of dangerous things people generally shouldn't do on a Tuesday, we have a stunt jump, presumably for a movie.

A combination of jumping through a window...

of a skyscraper...

while on fire...

without a parachute...

leads me to believe this guy is very talented at avoiding death. And that he saves plenty of money on health insurance because I doubt he could find a policy covering this sort of behavior.
