Dogs make for great video

This week in viral video, dogs are among the most popular subjects. Probably not the first time.

In the video above, an advertisement for an advertising company, a dog at the local pound uses some slick editing and a flat panel television to impress potential new owners. Apparently, interest in the dog has skyrocketed, and he even has his own Facebook fan page.

In other news, Dog Confused By Escalator is also making viral video chart headlines. According to the comments, interest in the video might be related more to the woman holding the dog (seen towards the end), than the dog itself.

The fascination with pets probably comes as no surprise to fans of sites like Hipster Puppies and lolcats.
