A web site to help you save money in 2014

As a married father of three children, one of my resolutions for 2014 is to save money, the same sentiment many of you share. To start, I'm planning to check out this web site on a daily basis: http://thekrazycouponlady.com/

The web site was founded by stay-at-home mothers Heather Wheeler and Joanie Demer, who wanted to trim their respective monthly food budgets. What they developed is a top-notch spot to help you save on items like groceries, toys and apparel.  The web site helps by showing you what stores have the best deals during the week and how you can best take advantage of said deals. And to do so, the web site shows you how to find ridiculous savings by using coupons. (This is why it pays to be a Sunday newspaper subscriber.)

There's a lot to discover on the web site, but two things really stand out: 1) The blog, which is updated throughout the day to show you updated savings at various stores and 2) A tab to click on one of the more than 80 stores listed, stores from CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens to Bi-Lo, Kroger, Publix and Winn-Dixie to Best Buy, Costco and Old Navy.

Check out the web site for yourself. I hope it helps you save hundreds (maybe even thousands) throughout the year. Happy shopping!
