LAST GAME: Augusta lost to Columbus in a shotout 5-4; Fayetteville beat Huntsville 2-1.
STANDINGS: RiverHawks (28-9-5, 61 points) 1st place; FireAntz (13-25-5, 31 points) 9th place
The worst record in the Southern Professional Hockey League wasn't enough to save Sean Gillam. The FireAntz coach was fired Thursday and replaced by Todd Bidner. And Bidner's first road trip will be to Augusta, the team with the best home record in the SPHL.
The Bidner-led FireAntz won their first game - a 2-1 win over Huntsville Friday night. But this game will be a much more difficult test.
The RiverHawks aren't happy after Friday night's shootout loss to Columbus. The Cottonmouths are a quality team, but those are the games Augusta must win to prevent some of the league's other top teams from making a run at first place. The RiverHawks have played Fayetteville nine times already this season, and they'll play them twice more after tonight. But a new head coach can make this an entirely different opponent, which should make for an interesting night at James Brown Arena.

Only been with the Antz one day, so Hawks can take this win if they focus!
Last night was horrible with all the chaos ensuing during the game, but Hawks will WANT this win tonight!! And the usual rowdy section 101 will be screaming loud and proud for them :)
