Augusta newsman turns entrepreneur to promote running with #dontstoprunning gear on the way

#dontstoprunning shirts soon will be available

An assortment of T-shirts sporting the #dontstoprunning tag from Augusta newsman Chris Kane soon will be available.
Very cool news arrived in the local running world Friday when WJBF-TV News Channel 6 anchor and reporter Chris Kane announced his new business.

Currently in its infancy - he's still having a web site set up, for example - #dontstoprunning will soon have T-shirts for sale "in a local store" (I'm guessing Fleet Feet?), Chris says. He'll also have a separate Facebook page.

For now, the only way to get the technical shirts is by messaging Chris on his own Facebook page. I'll post some links when they're available? Be sure to check it out to support a budding local businessman - and the sport.

Race directors meeting

As I mentioned a while back, a meeting is being set up to help race organizers. That's been nailed down now: It will be Aug. 27 at the Columbia County Convention and Visitors Bureau in Evans. I'll provide details soon. Meanwhile, remember to let me know if you have a local running event to promote. Email me at barrypaschal@yahoo.com.

Let's hit the road!
