Monthly Recognition of Excellence – The Augusta Chronicle newsroom will be accepting nominations for Teacher of the Month, Volunteer of the Month and Public Servant of the month. Anyone may nominate a local person who fits in one of these categories through the Community Counts website or through contacting our newsroom via mail.

Community Counts Coloring Contest – at the Arts in the Heart of Augusta Young Artist’s Market. Area children will get to draw their favorite place in Augusta for a chance to win a free booth to sell their art at the Young Artist’s Market at the Arts in the Heart of Augusta. Horse’n Around Coloring Contest – at the NBHA’s Trick or Trot event. Area children will submit their best drawing of a horse for a chance to win cash prizes and/or gift certificates.
