WHAT’S NEW: Instagram is said to be rolling out a new feature that will allow users to post more than one photo per post, in a kind of album that you swipe through without leaving your place in the home feed.
This is a great update in my opinion, since Instagram has really become where we post our important photos.
Even though I love that Instagram forces me to select only one or two photos per event or weekend, sometimes I really do want to post several (but don’t want to annoy my followers who might not want to scroll through 10 photos). This would give everyone the option to scroll through the photos, but wouldn’t force people to scroll through them all to get to their next item in the feed.
As of now, it’s only being offered to advertisers, but I’d look for it to come out pretty soon.
WHAT’S TRENDY: Ktchn Apothecary is the newest addition to the world of subscription boxes, combining the beauty chops of Birchbox with the DIY-ness of Blue Apron to bring you all the fixings to make your own at-home beauty products.
Just like Blue Apron or Plated, Ktchn Apothecary sends you perfectly measured portions of ingredients (think beeswax, lavender oil) to use to make a facial moisturizer that is paraben-free, all-natural, and even gluten-free.
You can get a kit sent to you on a schedule, since the amount you prepare is designed without preservatives and in a smaller quantity than the jumbo drugstore package sizes.
