Interior decorator moving location

 

An Augusta interior decorator is closing its store near the intersection of Interstates 20 and 520 and reopening on Washington Road.

Decorator’s Outlet &Interiors, at 615 NW Frontage Road, plans a soft opening Oct. 31 at 3855 Washington Road. The new store will be in the former Appliance Land building in Martinez near the intersections of Bobby Jones Expressway and Washington and Old Evans roads.

A grand opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting will be held in late November or early December. Exact dates will be announced .

“We’re very excited to finally have a location that is more accessible to the public,” said Eve Turner, manager of Decorator’s Outlet &Interiors.

The business specializes in quality fabrics and custom window treatments, bedding and soft shades at discount prices.

New Grovetown homes opening

Ivey Homes’ second Grovetown community is holding a model-home grand opening next month.

The event at Brighton Landing will include home tours, giveaways for items including a Rec Tec grill, games and a pet portrait station.

Brighton Landing is off Horizon Parkway near Augusta Tech’s Columbia County Campus. Brighton Landing’s first phase will consist of 73 home sites and green space starting in the $160s. Providing a variety of floorplans, Brighton Landing will consist of homes ranging from three to six bedrooms.
