Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA introduced its 2017 Youth Board at a recent meeting, with members representing high schools from the Augusta area. Credit union donates thousands of stuffed animals

SRP Federal Credit Union announced its holiday stuffed animal initiative resulted in approximately 10,000 of the toys being donated to area law enforcement agencies and community partners.

The toys will be distributed in a variety of ways, but primarily by law enforcement officers responding to situations involving children.

Organizations receiving the animals include: Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, Jud C. Hickey Center for Alzheimer’s Care, Columbia County Sheriff’s Department, city of Grovetown, North Augusta Public Safety, Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office, Aiken County Sheriff’s Office and Aiken Regional Medical Center.
