Verizon Wireless, Comcast join to offer services



Verizon Wireless and Comcast have teamed up to offer each other’s services in Augusta.

The businesses will share and sell services across the two companies.

They will also deliver offers and incentives for new and existing customers, according to a news release.

Customers can order services from both companies in person or by phone.

The partnership is designed to provide “a better experience for customers.”

Based on the package chosen, customers of Comcast and Verizon Wireless could qualify for offers such as
Visa prepaid cards valued at up to $300 or a 12-month subscription to Xfinity Streampix and Comcast HD DVR at no additional cost for six months.

Verizon Wireless and Comcast also expanded the service to Savannah and Snellville, Ga., and several other states this week.

They previously introduced in Atlanta, Chicago, Colorado, Kansas City, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Seattle and Portland, Ore.
