2014 Best And Brightest Awards

The Augusta Chronicle's annual Best and Brightest Awards are designed to highlight outstanding high school seniors from our area. Twenty finalists will be selected. They will be recognized in The Chronicle's annual graduation section on June 1 and at the Best and Brightest banquet on May 15. Finalists will be interviewed by a panel of judges on May 8. Five students will be selected to receive cash prizes: four of $200 and one $1,000 grand prize.

To be considered for the Best and Brightest Award, students must complete and submit: this application form, a short essay, a copy of their high school transcript, and a letter of nomination written by someone other than a personal relative. The deadline for nominations to be received at The Chronicle is Friday, April 25.

Nominees must be available to attend both the interview on Thursday, May 8, and the awards banquet on Thursday, May 15. Finalists will be notified by May 1.
