The Taurus returns this year with minor exterior and interior changes. The available trim levels include LX, SE, and SE Wagon. Safety features include two-stage front airbags, crash severity sensor, optional anti-lock brakes, and side airbags. New exterior colors added are Harvest Clearcoat Metallic, Medium Royal Blue Clearcoat and Chestnut Clearcoat Metallic. Traction control, keyless remote entry system, leather seating, and daytime running lights are optional. The Special Value Group upgrades the SE model with ABS brakes, power driverŐs seat, a 60/40 split fold rear seat, and illuminated vanity mirrors. The wagon is available with tan optional rear-facing third seat which raises seating to eight.
