Jon Scheyer scored 20 points and Nolan Smith added 12 for the Blue Devils (8-0).
Robbie Hummel had 15 points and eight rebounds and JaJuan Johnson added 12 for the Boilermakers (5-2). Moore, Purdue's leading scorer, went scoreless in the first half and finished with 10 points.
Duke improved to 10-0 all-time in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. It was the Blue Devils' first test against a ranked team this season.
Purdue lost to No. 6 Oklahoma in overtime last Friday in the NIT Season Tip-Off final.

In South Bend, Ind., Ryan Ayers was 9 of 14 from 3-point range for a career-high 35 points and Kyle McAlarney was 7 of 13 on 3s for 27 points in Notre Dame's victory.
Ayers tied the Notre Dame record with nine 3s at the Joyce Center, one shy of the record 10 Donta Wade had for Providence against the Irish in 2000. McAlarney just missed a third straight 30-point game as the Irish (6-1) were 19 of 37 from 3-point range.
NO. 17 VILLANOVA 69, PENN 47
In Philadelphia, Dante Cunningham had 20 points and 11 rebounds, Corey Stokes scored 14 points and Villanova cruised again.
The Wildcats (7-0) have won every game by at least 13 points and have fattened their record against teams that won't come close to cracking the Top 25.
Coach Jay Wright defended Villanova's soft nonconference schedule by suggesting games against four Philadelphia schools are almost like playing a Big East school.

In Memphis, Tenn., Shawn Taggart had 21 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks and freshman Tyreke Evans added 24 points as Memphis dominated every phase of the game in the win over Marist.
Antonio Anderson scored 12 points and Roburt Sallie finished with 11 for Memphis (5-1). Evans was 10-of-13 from the field.
David Devezin led the Red Foxes (2-4) with 11 points, while Lawrence Williams and Ryan Schneider had 10 each.
OHIO STATE 72, NO. 21 MIAMI 68
In Coral Gables, Fla., Ohio State erased a 14-point second-half deficit, mounting the comeback after the ejection of Miami scoring leader Jack McClinton.
Jon Diebler scored 20 points and Evan Turner had 19 for the Buckeyes (4-0), who won for only the second time in seven games in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. Miami (4-2) fell to 0-3 in the series.

In Gainesville, Fla., Nick Calathes had 16 points, five rebounds and seven assists, Chandler Parsons added 15 points to lead Florida.
