Cody McElhaney and Josh Adams , Class AAA All-State Baseball; and Josh White , Academic and Citizenship Award.

Also, Haley Sheehan , Dani Frank , Haley Justice and Amber Holley , Class AAA All-State Softball; Courtney Howell , All-Rookie All-State Softball.

Student of excellence

Courtney Tutt , of Jackson Middle School, has been recognized by the United States Achievement Academy as a student of excellence in honor roll and cheerleading.

College honors list

Philip Boehner , Brent Lacy and Claire Voegele , all of Aiken, have been named to the distinguished honors list for at the College of Charleston (S.C.).

On teachers council

Gregory MacDougall , a science educator at the Central Savannah River Mathematics and Science Regional Center in Aiken, has been selected to serve on the National Science Teachers Association's Council.

Rachel Sloan , of North Augusta, has been named to the dean's list at Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Va.
