A Frisco dining car, built in the 1890s, is one of two railroad cars that will be restored during the Aiken Railroad Depot project. The three men chiefly responsible for restoring the dining car are Aiken master woodworker Walt Zielinski (from left); Friends of the Aiken Railroad Depot project manager Don Barnes; and Robert Franzen, the president of Steam Services of America. The depot at Park Avenue and Union Street will serve as a history museum and will house Aiken's tourist office. The dining car can be rented for catered parties and other events.
